one of the differences between j.ALBRECHT
and other "custom" jewelry designers
is our unique blend
of modern machinery and traditional craftsmanship.

drawings

we regard
our modeling program
merely as a tool
to enable us
to fully view
our design vision .

many times
we sketch
and even carve by hand

many so-called
custom rings
are a mix
of assembly line of parts and pieces combined together
to create different outcomes.

in other cases
designers use different sub contractors
in order to finish
the various stages of their work.

at  j. ALBRECHT
each of  our concepts begins as air
we then bring those concepts to life
through our modeling.
our model comes to fruition
in the form of our own  wax carving
and kenny sets every diamond
and does all the finshing work
on his bench

we choose not to do our own
metal casting
for labor reasons
and instead support our friends
in the casting industry in Denver.
we use 3-D modeling
to lay out our designs
our speciality lies in the human, personal aspects of creating
  a piece of jewelry
capturing a mood
a sensibility
and a character
in a piece of precious metal.

one of the ways we do this
is by integrating your ideas
with our knowledge
as well as fashioning unexpected details into your piece
that represent you
and yet still compliment
the overall look
and feel of the piece.
